NEW BUSINESS MANAGER

ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Hannah Prouse has an extensive background in the crane, EWP, lifting and capital equipment industries, with over 10 years of experience in this field.

Hannah began her journey in the industry as an engineering technician while undertaking a cadetship. Through dedication and a passion for her work, she quickly advanced into business management, showcasing her exceptional skills in both technical and leadership roles.

Specialising in all types of mobile crane and travel towers, Hannah has an impressive track record. She has previously held CraneSafe endorsement, and has carried out over 350 annual inspections. Additionally, she has successfully carried out engineering testing and assessments for more than 100 Major Inspections.

Beyond her expertise in cranes, Hannah has also conducted extensive audits for both mobile and fixed plant safety and access compliance. Her attention to detail and commitment to ensuring the highest standards of safety makes her an invaluable asset to our team.

Hannah briefly ventured into the arts industry, where she gained hands-on HR management experience. Although this detour provided her with valuable insights and skills, she is thrilled to return to her true passion for forensic engineering.

Some examples of Hannah previous work includes:

  • Assessment and repair recommendations on mobile cranes involved in overturning, structural failures, fires, and road incidents;
  • Assessment and report of 60m travel tower for ADR and HVNL compliance;.
  • Assisting in complex incident investigations and expert opinions relating to cranes and other high risk plant;
  • Advice on design work period assessments, Major Inspection, periodic inspection, fleet ageing studies and reclassification of cranes & lifting equipment;
  • Auditing conveyors, machinery guarding and steel/concrete structures at mines and manufacturing sites for structural integrity, and compliance with AS4024 and AS1755;

  • Outside of the office, Hannah is a proud North Queensland Cowboys member, plays netball and the saxophone, and is forever working on a collection of not-particularly-ergonomic shoes.
