GRADUATE CONSULTING ENGINEER
Francis Nguyen is a new member of Dohrmann Consulting, working as an engineering intern. He is currently completing his final semester of his Master of Biomedical Engineering at The University of Melbourne.
As an engineering intern, Francis works closely with senior consultants to assist with the preparation of expert reports, as well as incident investigations for litigated personal injury matters
Some examples of projects Francis has helped deliver include:
- Reviewing and refreshing entry signage to 56 high-hazard areas within the Faculty of Engineering & Information Technology at the University of Melbourne
- Designing a cost-effective and user-friendly 3D Facial Scanner using consumer grade depth cameras
- Designing a patient specific temporomandibular joint replacement for the treatment of condyle aplasia
Some examples of incident investigations Francis Nguyen has been involved include:
- Slips, trips and falls
- Personal injury claims

- 2011-2018 St Patrick’s Cathedral Choir Scholarship
- 2016 Associate in Music
- 2021 Bachelor of Science
Outside of the office, he enjoys everything to do with sport and music, and enjoys watching sunsets at the beach.
